Want to know how to prepare captivating canapés? Maybe you’re into sumptuous soups and sauces. Or, perhaps you just want impress your friends with expert slicing and dicing skills. If so, then we’ve got an interesting prospect for you!

Fine Dining in Style has long been the go-to source for elegant in-home catering in the Golden Triangle. As well, in the last year, Fine Dining owner Gisela Matthijs expanded access to her delectable cuisine with the opening of Gisela’s restaurant in Vale do Lobo. And now, the teams at Fine Dining and Gisela’s are opening their recipe books and lifting the lids off their pots to give you inside knowledge on how to prepare haute cuisine in your home.

Eight master classes are scheduled for 2013, with Michelin-trained chefs at the helm. Each one begins at 10:00 in the morning with introductions over a glass of champagne and canapés. Four hours of demonstrations follow, with hands-on participation. This includes a wine tasting lesson from the sommelier. At 2:00, participants sit down to enjoy the fruits of their labor with lunch and wine from the morning classes. The day finishes at 4:00 with attendees receiving a recipe file and notebook to take home to replicate their culinary skills for friends and family.

Participants can pick and choose classes to attend. Or, true foodies may purchase the entire eight class package and receive a 20% discount as well as a spectacular bonus, a free Sunday lunch for two people at Gisela’s Restaurante.

Classes will take place at the Leiken Showroom on the EN125, near Quatro Estradas de Loulé in Almancil.
